I am currently fighting a really bad cold but want to make sure that I wish a “Happy New Year” to everyone out there! I hope that your New Year is filled with joy. The weather here in Los Angeles was not so great over New Years. We had a pretty heavy rain storm that left everything soaked, including us, as we spent New Year’s Eve at Universal Studios. Other than the downpour it was a really great time. Kirsten, Claudia’s mother had never been there and Claudia and myself had not been there for at least 15 years. The Jurassic Park and the new Revenge of the Mummy rides were really fun and we each got a free annual pass with our day ticket. There is also a great haunted house attraction that is modelled after the castle of Dracula from the movie Van Helsing. It really scared Claudia and Kirsten and I have to admit that I was frightened at a number of points by someone jumping out to scare me.
